Professor Satya Prakash President

Dr. Prakash is a professor of biomedical engineering at McGill University, QC, Canada. Dr. Prakash leads a research team dedicated to the advancement and development of bio-engineering delivery systems, including targeted controlled-release, targeted drug systems and cell delivery mechanisms. The goal is to design biotherapeutics that are capable of targeting specific cell types, organs or tissues to treat specific medical conditions. Dr. Prakash has had over 150 scientific publications, and 60 approved/pending patent applications. In 2003, Dr. Prakash co-founded Micropharma, a microbiome company based in Montreal, Canada. As Director of Micropharma, Satya has taken scientific discovery through and into the commercial world. Dr. Prakash, is a co-inventor of MangoGen’s patented technology
C. Paul Plested D.Phil. (Oxford)

Dr. Plested obtained his PhD in neuroscience from University of Oxford. After several post-doctorates, Dr. Plested turned to consulting and business development, where he established his own successful communication business venture, Noviatrica, where he acted as a consultant to GSK, Mirati, HIT Global, Tactus Scientific and McGill University. Working full-time as CEO of MangoGen, he has successfully developed the company from its original conception to where it is today. Dr. Plested has a broad medical knowledge that includes cardiovascular disease, neuroscience, human parturition, oncology, vaccinology, and parasitology. Dr. Plested has had 16 scientific publications and a patent application.
Dr. Bradley Thompson
Brad Thompson is an experienced biotech executive who brings over 20-years of industrial experience to the MangoGen Board. He currently serves as CEO of Wyvern Pharmaceuticals Inc., and serves as a board member on numerous other companies. Brad was the Co-Founder of Oncolytics Biotech Inc., and served as Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Oncolytics Biotech Inc. from April 1999 to November 2, 2016. Brad also served as Chairman of BIOTECanada. He received a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta and a Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario.
Mr. Castconguay joined the MangoGen Board in December 2018. Francois retired in 2015 form being the CEO and President of Uniprix, the second largest retail pharmacy chain in Quebec with annual sales of $2 billion. Uniprix was acquired by McKesson Canada in 2017 and Francois still serves as a consultant to Uniprix.
